Renewable energy (also known as renewable
power) that when applied called renewable energy system)is an energy that is produced from source that is not consumed in
reasonable time. In the last decade there is a growing demand to use renewable power sources mainly due to two reasons:
Cost of energy from consumable sources such as fossil petroleum and nuclear energy is rising.
The bad effect is these energy sources on the global warming.
That is why today, with small investment, anyone can create Home Renewable energy systems and by that power for home use. It is relevant for any
household or small business and by utilizing the renewable energy sources you can save money and contribute your share to the fight
against global warming.
There are several sources for renewable
energy such as Wind, Bio-energy, Hydro Electric, Geothermal, Sea (Tide and waves) and Solar (Thermo
solar and Photo Voltaic). From each source we can create a renewable energy system
Wind
energy is one of the leading renewable power methods. It is widely used around the world where
countries like Germany, Spain, USA, India and Denmark are the leading countries in that method. If you want to

Bio Energy relates to energy that can be produced from organic materials such as oil that comes from
Corn or alcohol fuels. This is another source for renewable
energy systems. The advantages of Bio energy is that is does not contribute to the Global Greenhouse
effect, can be produced in small factories while on the other hand use of woods to create energy will harm the
atmosphere and Earth ecology systems
Hydro Electric energy is one more source for renewable energy systems. it is an an energy created from power of
running and flowing water streams usually from height differences. It is usually created when water that is
conserved by dams released and when falling to lower height they turn a turbine that creates the energy. If you
live next to a running stream you can easily create your own Home renewable Power by harnessing the running stream
into your needs. More about other sources of Home Power system you can read at Earth 4 Energy
guide
Geothermal energy is the third source for renewable energy system. it is created by transferring energy
that is created below surface that shifts to ground level. By drilling deep, these energies can be released in a
controlled manner and use it to create energy mostly by steam power. In that process there is no burning method so
it is clean energy however it is a costly process to drill and harness the released energy in order to create
power.
Sea energy created from using the waves' energy as well as the tide to create the required electrical
power. This is more an Industrial way to create renewable
energy system. The most common method to do that is by putting buoy that while moving with the waves spins
a turbine that create the power
Thermo solar method is the conversion of the heat of the sun into power mainly by creating steam and
from that moving the turbine.
Another method of using the sun is called Photovoltaic method in which there is a direct conversion of
the sun heat into electrical power. The use of solar power to create energy in this method is growing exponentially
over the world in the last few years, after many governments as well as people realized they can get real benefits
from that and mainly because installing such a system (also for Home
Solar Power System) is not as expensive as in the past. Every day the technology of harnessing the renewable energy sources is progressing. Every day, more and
more companies that invest in research, release to the market new things, develop new products that give all of us
the ability to enjoy the never ending source and to create the power to our needs. If you are concerned that your
roof will not be enough for the panels, don’t worry as the technology today moved so much ahead that with it will
be much smaller then you might think and with such small solar panel system you will be able to
provide all you electricity needs. The same applies for wind turbine. You don’t
need a 50 ft. blade turbine and many home wind power systems are small thanks to the research of how to use the wind efficiently
and effectively.
However, all of these renewable energy sources are still small in use. For example in US less then 10% of the
US sources for creating energy comes from renewable energy sources. Most of the use is by Coal, Gas and
Petroleum which directly affects the carbon footprint.
All of this actually works and it can work for
you too. If you want help to reduce the global warming, save money on your electrical bill
