Save Money on Electricity
Use Window
Shades
In USA the residential energy is about
one third of the overall demand for electricity. This consumption is one of the major contributors to the
global warming by polluting the environment by using fossil fuel in most cases to produce the energy
required.
A reduction of only 10% of our monthly energy consumption at
home we can save a lot of pollution by NOT building more power plants and by that contribute directly to cleaner
world

During summer the heat is all over and the sun’s rays is really burning us. Usually we go inside our homes, put
on the air conditioner and we’re fine (besides moving to colder areas such as Alaska). But did you know that there
are other ways that you can use to feel more comfortable in hot weather?
In USA as well as in Australia (and many other places in the world) the problem is the same – hot weather and
strong sun rays. The simple solution for that are window shades that are built on the outside of your home and by
that keep the sun’s rays and heat away from the inside of your premises and provide cooler air inside your home
They have all the sizes you can think off and produced to all of the windows types you have. They are easily
mounted on your window frame.
The other great thing about these shades is the fact that beside keeping the heat and rays outside, it blocks the
harmful UV rays (almost 100% block) keeping us healthy from skin damage.
And if you are worried about how to clean it, don’t worry. Most manufacturers if not all, make the shades from
cleanable (in a washing machine) and maintainable form so it is really easy to keep it clean and nice You might ask
yourself, why is it so good, if it blocks the light? Well, the fact is that it blocks only part of the light
(totally blocking the harmful rays) but allowing a lot of light to get into the room and by that allowing us not to
use light bulbs when there is enough natural light outside.
Maybe some can live all day long in an air conditioner (with all the germs running in the air) or consider
moving to colder geographical locations but the best way to enjoy the benefits of the sun and at the same time
block it harmful rays and heat is to use windows shades.
This will allow us to insulate our home good enough to save few extra bucks on our electricity use.
